CRPT2

                This subject is a pre-requisite of our subject last semester, CRPT 1. Crop protection is also one of our major subjects this second semester. This subject introduces us to the different approaches and practices in pest management. Our class is every Monday 1 to 3 o’clock in the afternoon as lecture time and every Thursday 7 to 10 o’clock in the morning as laboratory time. Our professor in this subject s Ms. Ivy Modina. She is kind and approachable. For me, it is an interesting and difficult subject. This subject teaches us on how to protect various crops at different techniques and methods. We define a lot of terms and some scientific names of different pest animals. We’ve done a lot of activities like farm visitation, individual and group reporting and term papers. We visited the farm in Palangue, Naic, Cavite as part of our activity, to identify the common pest and diseases that occur on the various crops in the farm. We had term papers for our laboratory and lecture. When it comes to the examinations, I always passed her exams. The content of our exam is quite difficult but as they always says, “it is easy when study and difficult when you not study.” I am expecting to pass and can have a grade in this subject Crop Protection 2.
